Gelmatic ice cream machines use only 100% Italian-made Lafert motors, classified as F class, to provide the best performance even under challenging working conditions. Thanks to the great efficiency of these motors, a reliable working environment and energy savings can be achieved.

Like other machine components and units used in Gelmatic ice cream machines, the agitator motors comply with IE2 and IE3 energy efficiency standards. The mechanical transmission is produced under the Bonfiglioli Group and features an oil bath bearing that allows for very long machine life. Mechanical transmission can be controlled by an endless worm or a cast steel reducer in an oil bath.

All these details and the careful selection and use of components are intended to meet the specific needs of express cooling units and to provide long-lasting machines. The drive force and design details reduce maintenance needs of the machines to zero.
